CraftProof (www.craftproof.net) is an independent service, not affiliated with Etsy, Inc. For questions, contact support@craftproof.ai.

Information you provide

To generate a listing, you enter a product name and optional details (material, dimensions, audience notes). We do not require account registration. We do not store your product inputs in our own database after your session ends.

Do not enter sensitive personal information, payment details, passwords, private customer data, medical information, or content you do not have the rights to use.

AI processing

Your product inputs and the generated listing outputs are sent to Anthropic for AI processing. We do not store these in our own database. Anthropic may retain API inputs and outputs according to their own data retention policy — typically up to 30 days, subject to their terms and applicable law.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how people use the site. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not share data with advertisers. In many jurisdictions this does not require an analytics cookie banner, but local rules may vary.

Cookies and local storage

We set a single server-side cookie (craftproof_usage) to track how many listings you have generated in the free tier. This cookie contains only a cryptographically signed count — no personal information.

Your browser also stores a local counter (craftproof_count) in localStorage to display your remaining free generations. This value never leaves your device.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party ad networks.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may retain standard server logs including IP address, request path, timestamp, browser and device metadata, and performance diagnostics per their privacy policy.

Email communications

We do not require account registration and do not proactively collect email addresses. If you contact us by email (e.g. for support or early access), we collect your email address and the content of your message in order to respond. We do not add you to any mailing list without your consent.

Data retention

We do not maintain a user database. Your product inputs are not stored by us after the API call completes. The usage cookie expires after one year. Server logs are retained by Vercel per their policy. If you emailed us, we keep that correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your request.

Your privacy rights

Because we do not currently maintain user accounts, we may have limited personal data about you directly. You can contact us at support@craftproof.ai to request access, correction, or deletion of any information we control. For data held by Anthropic or Vercel, please refer to their respective privacy policies.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
